- Minimum holiday entitlement for full-time employees with a contract is 20 days paid a year, plus bank holidays, that’s 5.6 weeks paid holiday a year
- Public or bank holidays don’t have to be given as paid leave, it’s at the discretion of the employer
- Paid leave is mandatory
- The notice period for requesting time off should be double the amount of time you are requesting i.e. two weeks notice for a week long holiday
